Ed Norden Announces Intention to Run For Re-Election For District 3 Fremont County Commissioner Seat

On Tuesday, December 20th, Ed Norden announced his intention to run for re-election to the District 3 Fremont County Commissioner  seat as a Republican candidate

Norden said, "I believe we have made some positive achievements over the past seven years, not only as the Board of Commissioners, but particularly working hand in hand with the other elected officials, department heads, and all county employees."

Norden notes that in the midst of one of the most difficult fiscal periods   in state and local government in decades, the Board of Commissioners has worked to reduce staffing levels and to streamline the delivery of services while still emphasizing the importance of maintaining a level of service to the citizens of Fremont County.

In his seven years as as District 3 Fremont County Commissioner, Norden notes that he has emphasized improved communications with the citizens of Fremont County through the county's web site, through improved contact with local and regional media, answering citizens' phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner and assisting when possible to make the citizens' experience with county government a pleasant one.

If elected to a third term as County Commissioner, Norden would like to continue working on more improvements at Pathfinder Regional Park to enhance the facilities there and improve accessibility to more of the park property to area residents.  He would also like to continue to seek improvements to the Fremont County Airport.

Norden particularly appreciates the trust and confidence the people of Fremont County have placed in him during his first two terms in office.  He enjoys working with the employees of Fremont County.  Norden pledges in a third term to continue working to make Fremont County a great place to live, work, raise families and retire.
